There are two tasks in each episode. They are “a technique test” & “elimination challenge”. One who qualifies for the tasks and avoids elimination is the ultimate winner.

Here we bring you the Great Chocolate Showdown Casting process in detail. The auditions are going to take place across Canada.

To appear in the auditions, first of all, you need to fill out the online application form. The form is available on GCS’s official website.

To be considered for Great Chocolate Showdown Casting, you must submit the following things in the form as well.

• A recent picture of yourself.
• Next, “three sample photographs” of your dishes.
• Also, “two videos” i.e. One – About you. The second one – showing your cooking skills.

Also, you must be eligible before applying. Otherwise, your form is not approved by the officials.

• Next, answer some of the basic information about yourself.
• After that upload a recent photo of yourself.
• Then, tell about your baking experience in a few words.
• Thereafter, provide information about your all social media accounts.
• Now, show off your skills, and upload – 3 sample photos of your impressive creation.
• Next, upload 2 videos. One where you record yourself for 4 to 6 minutes of you baking a dish.

Great Chocolate Showdown Season 5 Contestants

Since February 4, 2020, the program has been airing on television across the US and Canada. Nikki Ray Media is the production company.

In each season, 10 amateur home bakers participate. They are from different regions and backgrounds.

How to Make an Audition Video

You are on a cooking program! So, just show off your impressive skills in a good manner.

You need to upload two videos for the Great Chocolate Showdown Casting process. 

• In the first video – upload a 2-3 minute video, either via using the self-record function or recording on phone and then uploading online.
• In the second video – record a 4-6 minute video of your baking, decoration, and plating.
